You can create a School Safety Management System which is fully compliant to the ILO-OSH-2001 International Safety Management System using the Toolkit. Here’s how:

•  Adopt and modify the  Toolkit model policies, including Health, Safety, Security and Environment and manage them according to the School Safety Management System and Plans included.
• Adopt and modify the 12 Toolkit model procedures, including Emergencies, Fire,Bomb Alert, Intrusion etc and manage them according to the School Safety Management System and Plans included.

• Ensure staff competence in Risk Assessment and Visits as required by law by using Safety Training Courses accredited by the College of Teachers accredited Certificates of Educational Studies.
•  Monitor and Audit – Use the Toolkit online forms and 15 Checklists included to report and manage safety.
• Curriculum - Use the Toolkit Resources and Links to help fulfil the National Curriculum requirements for KS1 and KS2 and access over 20 free courses and resource sets for your pupils.

• Updates - Get regular School Safety  Updates as we make changes to keep up with H&S Changes (see our School Safety Newsletter.)

The Toolkit is Licenced by us to your School and comes either on CDROM or as an online and fully  searchable electronic system delivered through the Portfolio CPD System secure servers.
